Audit, tax and consulting firm RSM has appointed Andrew Manning as a risk assurance partner.

Andrew, who will be based at the firm’s Bristol office, previously headed up the internal audit and risk team at Crowe Clark Whitehill and prior to that was a director with Deloitte.

Andrew has over 20 years’ experience working at a senior level in risk consulting, governance and internal audit. His clients have ranged across all sectors, with a particular charity and public benefit focus and included major charities such as British Council, Save the Children, National Trust and Shelter as well as major central government departments.

Andrew’s appointment is a strategic move for RSM to help drive the firm’s engagement with the central government and charity sectors.

Mark Jones, RSM’s national head of internal audit services said: “We are delighted that Andrew has joined our team. We already provide internal audit and risk consulting services to major charities and international NGOs as well as central government departments.

“Andrew’s strength and reputation in these sectors combined with the opportunities we already have with the Government Internal Audit Agency Framework and the firm’s existing charity credentials give us an excellent opportunity to grow our market share in these strategically important areas.”
