Senior appointments announced as Bristol Airport’s first hotel prepares for takeoff

A raft of senior appointments have been announced ahead of the highly anticipated launch of Bristol’s second Hampton by Hilton hotel in 2017.

The new six-strong management team, led by General Manager Andrew Peacock, has more than 42 years’ combined experience in the hospitality industry. They will bring together an essential mix of skills needed to take the helm of the first hotel to open at Bristol Airport.

Lauris Gedrovics joins the team with an impressive background in the hospitality industry, having worked at a variety of hotels for seven years.

Sales Manager Kiri Hatfield Smith and Maintenance Manager Sebastian Fuller have both assumed management positions for the first time, but have considerable experience working for the Hilton brand.

The new management team also includes two operations supervisors, Craig Rees and Tony Adams.

The 201-room hotel will be the perfect place for travellers to eat, drink or sleep either before or after their journey. It will be located just two minutes from the main airport terminal and will include a 24 hour gym, a work zone with free Wi-Fi and computers and an impressive food and drink offer.
