Shortlisted Aquarian looking to retain prestigious business award

Aquarian Cladding Systems is looking to win back-to-back Business of the Year awards at the South West’s biggest and most celebrated business awards event of the year.

Finalists for the 2019 Business Leader Awards have been announced and the external cladding supplier has been nominated in the Business of the Year 1-10 employee category and Employer of the Year.

Having scooped the Business of the Year award last year, Aquarian are in the hunt to hold onto their title.

“To be shortlisted for two Business Leader awards this year is brilliant, and a testament to the hard work the team put in to make the business the success it is,” commented Paul Richards, Aquarian Cladding’s MD.

“To win Business of the Year last year was brilliant, but to win it again and retain it would be very special for us.

“It was a great event last year and we’re looking forward to another fantastic evening with the cream of businesses in the South West.”

The prestigious gala evening takes place on Thursday, September 26 at Ashton Gate Stadium, Bristol and this year will be hosted by Michael Portillo.

Business Leader Director, Oli Ballard, said: “The competition was fierce this year as we received more than 200 entries so congratulations to Aquarian for impressing the judges and receiving two nominations.

“Winning Business of the Year two years in a row has never been done before so we’d like to wish both them, and all the other businesses who’ve been nominated across all categories, the best of luck next month.”
