Smith Cooper announce appointment of customs duty expert

Smith Cooper, an accountants and business advisors firm, have announced that they have welcomed a customs duty advisor to their specialist VAT team, bolstering their indirect tax offering.

Gareth Page, Customs Duty Advisor and at Managing Director at Kipco Consulting, joins the team on a consultancy basis. Kipco Consulting is an innovative and independent custom duty organisation providing specialist tax advice to UK importers and exporters alike.

Gareth has extensive experience providing specialist advice to clients, with particular focus on duty minimisation, and has expertise in all aspects of customs duty, including key areas such as tariff classification and valuation. Having operated within the field for almost 20 years, Gareth has accumulated an unrivalled wealth of experience.
