Snaptrip acquires to expand holiday lettings market share

Started in 2013, Snaptrip gives travellers access to more than 60,000 properties around the world. The site’s owners have added to a roster of five holiday travel websites, including; Snaptrip, Last Minute Cottages, Big Cottages, and Dog Friendly Cottages. is a trusted marketplace for travellers to discover the best last-minute cottage, apartment and lodge holiday deals in the UK, Ireland and other European destinations. With more than 60,000 properties available on-site, helps people find and book last-minute accommodation with discounts of up to 60%.

Last year the founders of purchased Last Minute Cottages and Big Cottages, and after relaunching both websites, following extensive redesigns of both, saw a 50% increase in website traffic and increased revenues by more than 400%. was launched in 2003, and has since grown exponentially, offering UK holiday-goers access to thousands of properties across the UK. says that purchasing the domain was an obvious way to expand its share of the holiday lettings market in the UK and Europe.
