South West Business Leader Awards receives record number of entries
With judging now underway, the South West Business Leader Awards have announced that for this year’s event, they have received a record number of entries.
Hundreds of entries were submitted across the 16 categories. The independent judging panel now have the difficult task of narrowing down the list to decide the winners.
To ensure the event continues – but respects the current situation – a new schedule has also been announced.
BLA’s independent judging panel will now analyse the entries ‘virtually’ or in person where safe to do so in August and September. Following this, the finalists will be announced in October – and the winners will be revealed in November.
In February/March 2021 the finalists, winners and sponsors will come together for a celebration dinner.
Founder of the Business Leader Awards, Andrew Scott comments: “We have received some incredible entries from all across the region, and I am very excited to see who our judging panel pick as the winners.
“Despite the difficult situation all businesses have faced this year, our awards are shaping up to be the most hotly-contested to date.
“Good luck to them and all our entrants!”
The Business Leader Awards sponsors have played a vital role in getting some of the region’s leading companies and entrepreneurs involved with this year’s event. One of those sponsors is Four Wealth Management, who will be sponsoring the Business of the Year 1-10 Employees category.
Mette Jensen, Financial Adviser, Four Wealth Management said: “Now the entries for the Business Leader Awards have closed, we are very excited that more businesses than ever have entered the awards. We will be receiving the entries soon and although judging will be a bit different this year due to the current circumstances, I am looking forward to meeting with as many of the businesses who entered as possible and wish everyone the best of luck.”
