South West construction company to raise £35k in one day for its Charity of the Year

Dribuild charity race day at Bath Racecourse

Keynsham-based construction company Dribuild has set itself a huge and exciting task of raising tens of thousands of pounds in one day for its charity of the year ‘Together for Short Lives’.

On Tuesday July 18th, over 300 guests involved in the building industry in one way or another, will spend the day in a marquee at Bath Racecourse arranged by Dribuild, in order to raise £35k to help children who will have short lives.

During the day, race-goers can expect various charitable games, as well as the races themselves, some of which have been sponsored by the businesses attending the day and supporting the charity.

Matt Tyler, MD Dribuild said: “We have set ourselves a mammoth target of raising £35,000 which I know we will achieve with the help and generosity of those companies supporting us on the day.  Both Dribuild and Together for Short Lives appreciate the support very much and every penny really does count. The funds raised from the event will be invaluable in helping children and young people who are expected to have short lives.

Dribuild has pledged to continue its support this year by announcing its Charity of the Year as ‘Together for Short Lives’. Dribuild’s Business Development Manager, Helene Cook said: “Being passionate about our charitable commitment makes supporting ‘Together for Short Lives’ a really worthwhile and moving venture. This is one of the first of our official events with Together for Short Lives and we can’t wait to welcome our guests on the day”.
