Excalibur makes its fifth purchase in seven years

Excalibur Communications has acquired Techs4Education.

Established in 2010, Techs4Education is a trusted provider of IT support services and technology solutions to schools in the South of England.

The acquisition means Excalibur, who as stated to Business Leader by company chairman James Phipps recently saw turnover of £8 million, will grow its presence in the education sector.

Excalibur will maintain the Techs4Education name and re-brand its existing education practice under this title as part of the integration process.

The enlarged Techs4Education division will now serve over 30 schools across southern England.

In April last year, Excalibur appointed its new chief executive officer Peter Boucher, he comments: “The addition of Techs4Education complements our existing education practice and grows our presence in a sector which is important to the business.

“Techs4Education has a strong reputation for making sure its schools have reliable and effective IT solutions and, like Excalibur, believes in delivering only the highest levels of service.
