A group of cooking enthusiasts and restaurateurs are looking to bring on board sponsors to help fund their trip to the 2020 Culinary Olympics that are taking place next February in Stuttgart, Germany.

UK Curry Connect (UKCC) is a small campaign group that is trying to make its voice heard on behalf of the Asian catering industry.

It is attempting to do this by inspiring those with a passion for food and to also combat the well-documented skills shortages.

The group previously took park in the 2018 Culinary World Cup in Luxembourg, where they received international recognition for their cooking and say that they want to attend the Olympic event in order to raise awareness about the chronic skills shortages affecting many Asian takeaways and restaurants.

Moslek Uddin is the founder and CEO of UK Currey Connect, which is the organisation that will attend the event.

He comments: “Competing in the World Cup was a rollercoaster ride and the adventure saw us gain the nickname the ‘cool running’s of the cooking world. We won several medals and commendations at this event and we’re determined to do the same again. We’re looking for sponsors to help fund our competing at the event and support our wider cause around skills shortages.”

UKCC are looking for sponsorship for the 2020 Culinary Olympics in February. Interested? Please contact Moslek Uddin, Founder and CEO of UK Curry Connect on 07920 761 468 or email moslek@ukcurryconnect.co.uk.
