Speed dating with an accountant

When you think of speed dating, taxation and finance may not be the first things that spring to mind.

But for Robert Stone & Co Chartered Accountants this is exactly what will be on the agenda thanks to its oringinal take on the well worn format.

The firm is hosting its free to attend ‘Speed Dating with an Accountant’ event on Friday November 23, which will run from 6pm-8.30pm.

Anyone with a question regarding taxation or finance will get the chance to ask owner Robert Stone himself as part of the event.

However, to get the most out of the evening he is recommending people come with a question or two ready to ask.

Robert comments: “I am hoping that “Speed Dating with an Accountant” will catch on.

“It is meant to be fun, but also informative and practical – the idea is to give everyone a chance to air their worries whether it’s a tax problem or a query about the latest government legislation.”

The event will be held at the Old Magistrate’s Court, East Street, Ilminster.

The one-to-one sessions will be free to attend, although donations to Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance will be much appreciated according to Robert.
