This Business in the Community award is open to businesses or social enterprises that have made a significant positive impact on the community and region they operate in.

To enter, you will be required to submit an 800-word entry that shows how you have organised or been involved in the following initiatives – through your business – or structured the business to have community at its heart. The judges will be looking for;

  • Programmes, events or projects with not-for-profit social objectives
  • An innovative approach to the way the business puts community interests at its core
  • Activities that stimulate interest in the arts, community engagement, encourage enterprise or raise aspirations

Sarah Asprey, Client Services Director, Sprague Gibbons, said: β€œIt is great for Sprague Gibbons to be able to support this important category, showcasing businesses and social enterprises who have made a real impact in their local communities. Now, more than ever, businesses have a role to play in supporting and enhancing the communities around them. We are pleased to play a part in recognising those who do it well, whether by organising events or programmes, encouraging community engagement, stimulating interest in the arts, or simply putting community interests at the heart of their business.”
