STX Next appoints Ronald Binkofski as new CEO

Software development company STX Next has announced the appointment of Ronald Binkofski as its new Chief Executive Officer. Binkofski joins STX Next with almost 30 years of experience working in managerial positions at tech companies across Europe.

The appointment is a key marker in STX Next’s pursuit of stable growth at a difficult time for all businesses, given the economic crisis affecting much of Europe. Binkofski officially replaced outgoing CEO, Maciej Dziergwa, at the beginning of January 2023.

Dziergwa, who founded STX Next in 2005, has moved to an executive position on the company’s Supervisory Board, and will continue to play an integral role in the organisation’s development.

Prior to joining STX Next, Binkofski was General Manager of Microsoft’s Polish division from 2013 to 2018. He was also the President for Central & Eastern Europe at Honeywell, where he also led the Intelligrated distribution centre automation division for EMEA.

Commenting on his appointment, Binkofski said: “I’m delighted to be joining STX Next as its new CEO. It is a company that I have long held in high esteem for its work across Europe and the rest of the world, and its ambitious plans for the future. I look forward to supporting the team fully in the next stages of STX Next’s development.

There are huge amounts of potential for further expansion as we go into 2023 and beyond.

Outgoing CEO Maciej Dziergwa commented on the appointment of his successor: “Ronald brings with him a wealth of expertise in managing large international businesses, and he has spent many years honing his skills to become an extremely well-rounded leader.
