Successful 2021 for MHA Monahans kickstarts optimistic 2022

MHA Monahans, the independent, southwest-based accountancy firm which has offices across eight locations including Glastonbury, Bath, Taunton and Swindon, begins 2022 on a high note after an impressive 2021.

Despite another turbulent year for all businesses, MHA Monahans onboarded 420 new clients, welcomed eight senior hires to its leadership team, grew its overall headcount by more than 10 per cent and opened a brand-new office for its Taunton branch.

Demand for the high-quality, seasoned expertise of the MHA Monahans team grew in all of its service areas as business leaders grappled with the evolving business landscape that 2021 created.

To help companies understand and navigate concerns such as the end of furlough, the Health and Social Care Levy and Tax Investigations, MHA Monahans rapidly pivoted to create its post-pandemic recovery hub. Drawing upon the depths of the team’s commercial and specialist insight, MHA Monahans enabled its network to make informed decisions and power future business growth.

The post-pandemic recovery hub campaign has meant that the MHA Monahans website receives, on average, 525 daily visits – a ten-fold increase compared to pre-campaign figures. The success of MHA Monahans’ innovative new platform saw the business onboard 420 new clients which, in turn, created demand for a widening and strengthening of their senior team.

Fiona Westwood was welcomed as Partner alongside Chris Clark, Senior Client Portfolio Manager, Jessica Long, Tax Consultant, Zoe Alder, HR Manager, and Adam Lloyd, VAT Senior Manager.

Commenting on MHA Monahans success in 2021, Simon Tombs, Managing Partner, said: “2021 was another unprecedented year. We continued to yo-yo in and out of lockdowns and restrictions. Over the next 12 months, the MHA Monahans team plans to grow further by at least 10 per cent with increased revenues.
