Suiting up for Women in Business
Bishop Fleming held one of their popular Women in Business Events on Thursday 14th June. For this event business women from across the South West took part in a Gorge Scrambling afternoon hosted by Go Coasteering in sunny Devon.
The Bishop Fleming Women in Business network continues to grow exponentially, offering a different kind of women in business networking opportunity, and at each event drawing women together from all different industries. This event saw the women sport some fantastic wetsuits, whilst scrambling through gorges in the Devon countryside.
Bishop Fleming Partner, Fleur Lewis said: “This was another great Women in Business Event, with challenges and new experiences, there were lots of laughs shared and it was a great opportunity to network with key business women across the region. Our Women in Business events allow us and so many other women to make connections and build an external support network, and we are so glad that this network continues to grow”.
The event began on Thursday afternoon when the women set off with expert staff from Go Coasteering from their meeting point just outside Okehampton. The group successfully conquered and made the most out of all the natural features such as slides, sumps, caves and jumps on their walk and thoroughly enjoyed every minute.
Hazel Tucker, Partner at Bishop Fleming, based in their Torquay office said: “This was a new activity for the Bishop Fleming Women in Business events, and my, what an experience! It was such a great chance to catch up with some old faces, and to meet some new ones. The Gorge Scrambling was expertly lead by the Go Coasteering team, and it was so nice to see everyone having such a great time trying something new”.
The next event for the Bishop Fleming Exeter and Torquay office will be held later this year in September.
