Work underway on new development

Work is now underway to build a new Hungry Horse pub at the Weston Gateway Business Park development (WGBP) near Junction 21.
Well known pub retailer and brewer Greene King run the Hungry Horse chain, and the development will create in the region of forty new jobs once built.
In the autumn, Knightstone Housing is set to move in at the site, re-locating staff from their existing five regional offices to its newly built headquarters.
Knightstone were the first to occupy space at WGBP, which has seven plots available altogether.
Gemma Hughes, who is Director of Dowlas UK Ltd – the enabling developer for the site, comments: “The opportunities are enormous here and there is a hive of activity surrounding the site.
“Knightstone’s new offices will be completed soon, and we’re delighted to see that work has now started to build a new a hungry horse pub courtesy of Greene King.”
On who will fill the existing plots, Gemma comments: “Much of the interest for the vacant plots is coming from organisations outside of North Somerset looking to re-locate and create jobs. There have been some very interesting names but unfortunately these can’t be revealed at this moment.”
