The Coaching Masters announces fundraise to expand flexible working

The Coaching Masters – an online training academy for coaches recently valued at $25m (£20.8m) – has announced a fundraising campaign.

The campaign – which went live on 21 November 2022 – gives investors the opportunity to become shareholders in the rapidly growing ed-tech platform.

The Coaching Masters has already raised $700k (£582.8k) in pre-investment – 35% of their $2m (£1.7m) target. Investors realise the value and potential The Coaching Masters brings to coaching; the second-fastest growing industry in the world, with a market value of $20bn (£16.7bn) and a compound annual growth rate of 6.7%.

Founded in 2017 and recently recognised in Forbes, The Coaching Masters is rapidly growing and constantly innovating. It reports 100% year-on-year growth with over $4.2m (£3.5m) in revenue to date, over 5,750 customers across 78 countries, and growing.

This round of fundraising will assist with the launch of their next innovation – CoachApp. It will utilise VR and AI, and enable coaches to further grow their businesses.

Via the app, coaches will be able to connect with coachees, further expand their knowledge with e-learning products including accredited qualifications, and exchange paid coaching products and services securely and safely with CoachApp’s own marketplace.

Lewis Raymond Taylor, Founder at The Coaching Masters, says: “Since The Coaching Masters launched I always wanted to bring something different to the industry, which in many ways is still stuck in very outdated and traditional ways of working.

People increasingly want to work flexibly, from anywhere, and this is what has always driven our approach. We’re constantly looking at ways to evolve our offering and our latest innovation CoachApp is a game-changer for how coaches can build their business.”
