The Wine Tasting Co. – upcoming events.

To celebrate one year of trading, The Wine Tasting Co. is hosting a ‘New Zealand’ themed night at The Heritage Bistro, Weston-super-Mare on Thursday September 29.

Entry to the event costs £10 and it will be hosted by New Zealand born James Leary, who is Director of the Antipodean Sommelier Company.

Guests will be able to taste wine sourced exclusively from independent producers in New Zealand and also learn about how they were crafted. There will also be the opportunity to ask James any questions they may have, regarding the wines.

The Wine Tasting Co. founder Kelli Gould is looking forward to re-visiting wines from the island where she first developed a passion for tasting: “James will introduce many great wines from New Zealand and it promises to be a memorable night. My apprecation for wine was born when I was travelling in New Zealand , so celebrating the businesses’ first year this way is perfect.”

“I also want to use the event to say thank you to all the people who have supported us along the way.”

The Wine Tasting Co. is also hosting an evening of local wine and cheese tasting, along with the viewing of a selection of films shot in the local area by East Brent based filmmaker Neil Richard, of the Digital Film Company.

Tickets cost £8 and this event is taking place on Thursday September 15 from 7.30pm at the Clocktower at Rossholme, located on Church Road in East Brent.
