It’s all systems go at two North Somerset restaurants following news that the county has dropped a level on the Government’s Covid-19 tier system.
The team at Cadbury House in Congresbury are now preparing to welcome guests back to the venue’s two Marco Pierre White restaurants .
While the hotel and health club have been operating since 2 December, the restaurants remained shut as the area was under Tier 3 restrictions. But the easing to Tier 2 will mean people living in the area will at last be able to pop out to enjoy a festive meal in a Covid-safe environment.
Mehmet Kandemir, general manager at the popular four-star venue is now looking forward to welcoming guests from Saturday 19 December as well as on Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve.
He said: “It’s great news that we can re-open our restaurants for those wanting to dine out and celebrate in the run up to Christmas.
“Of-course we’ll be operating under strict Covid-19 secure guidelines, but want to make sure anyone thinking about coming out for a meal in either the Marco Pierre White Steakhouse or Bardolino Pizzeria can do so assured that we’ve gone above and beyond what’s expected.
“We take great pride in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene and we’ve taken every precaution so that those who dine with us can do so safe in the knowledge that all has been done to safeguard their health and that of the staff.
“When we reopened in the summer following the first lockdown, the response from customers was amazing and we’re expecting the same response again.
“There was a real buzz at both restaurants and once customers had been in to enjoy either lunch, afternoon tea or dinner they could see for themselves the measures we had put in place to ensure the safety of both guests and staff.
“This, without question, made them feel comfortable to eat out and the same applies now we can once again reopen and can’t wait to welcome guests here at Cadbury House.”
