Tin Roof Media receives £2.5m funding

Tin Roof Media Limited has received £2.5m in refinance and working capital from alternative finance provider for mid-sized SMEs, ThinCats.

The London and Chepstow based media company operates in the TV programming sector under the brands Blink Films and Outline Productions, working with major broadcasters such as the BBC and ITV.

The company is backed by private equity firm Rockpool, who approached ThinCats for funding to streamline the business’s finances, as well as to further develop their offering to respond to growing demand in the market.

Rod Henwood, Tin Roof Media said: “Notwithstanding the challenges of 2020, we are proud to have traded profitably and are very much looking forward to returning to normal levels of business in 2021. We have a fantastic order book and development slate which gives us great confidence going forward. Thanks to ThinCats and Rockpool for supporting us throughout.”
