Tinsdills Solicitors acquires several departments from Grindeys Solicitors

Staffordshire-based Tinsdills Solicitors have today announced the acquisition of key departments from Grindeys Solicitors.
The business acquisition sees additions to the Corporate Law, Commercial Property, Dispute Resolution and Wills, Trusts and Probate departments. Tinsdills Solicitors also offer Family Law, Employment Law, Personal Injury and Compensation Law, and Professional Negligence services. The acquisition sees 42% average growth across the departments with Dispute Resolution and Wills, Trusts and Probate doubling in size.
Commenting on the acquisition Tim Cogan, Managing Director Compliance Officer and Head of the Personal Injury Department at Tinsdills Solicitors said: “Tinsdills Solicitors and Grindeys Solicitors have both successfully worked in the local legal market as independent providers of high-quality legal advice to both personal and business clients for many years. As Grindeys Solicitors have now decided to contract the areas of legal work in which they operate this is a great opportunity to pool both firms’ expertise in these specific areas so that we can enhance the type and level of services offered to the mutual benefits of both firms clients.”
Included with the acquisition is the transfer of 12 staff, each bringing a wealth of experience and business acumen to bolster existing departments. Following this increase in team members, Tinsdills Solicitors now employ over 100 members of staff across the business.

The Business Services Department at Tinsdills Solicitors will grow by 40% following this acquisition.
