Two new senior appointments for Cushman & Wakefield’s Rating team

Dan Taylor, new Partner and Head of Birmingham Rating

 

Cushman & Wakefield has made two senior appointments to its UK Rating team.

Dan Taylor joins as Partner and Head of Birmingham Rating, moving from Lambert Smith Hampton where he spent 11 years latterly as Director in the Rating team. He was responsible for advising occupiers and landlords on their rates liabilities, managing key national clients and developing new business. He has experience in advising on properties ranging from shops and offices to schools and health centres.

Dan Taylor said: “I am looking forward to bringing my knowledge and experience to Cushman & Wakefield to build upon the existing client base and achieve excellent results for our clients.”

Mike Smith joins the team as an Associate, moving from the Valuation Office Agency where he was Lead Valuer and Team Leader. He has 36 years’ experience in valuing retail, office and industrial properties.

In his new role, he will be leading the account management of some of Cushman & Wakefield’s key rating clients as well as growing the service line.
