Uncommon acquires new Holborn office space

Uncommon, a design-led and experience-focused flexible office space provider, has expanded its commercial portfolio with the acquisition of its largest asset to date, Templar House, Holborn.

Formerly the home of London Underground Ltd, the 140,000 sq. ft. building will become Uncommon’s flagship site, providing flexible workspace for over 2,000 people. Uncommon aims to transform Templar House into the best client-tailored office space in the UK with a plethora of members’ services and bringing its wellness focused design to midtown.

Currently, Uncommon owns and manages four active flexible office spaces in Highbury & Islington, Fulham and Borough and Liverpool Street.

Located moments from Liverpool Street Station, Uncommon’s Liverpool Street space includes a number of innovative aspects, including a five-meter Ficus Benjamina tree, extensive member break-out facilities with scenic rooftop views, wellness studio overlooking a collection of meditation pods and yoga facilities, recently launched in partnership with leading indoor cycle provider Peloton.

A key feature of Uncommon’s midtown space will be the interior planting which is central to the company’s wellness strategy coupled with the quality of air and water filtration in the office spaces, wellness facilities including dedicated fitness studios, expansive conference facilities, pop-up retail and food offering, member bar and rooftop terrace.
