Upcoming events at Hutton Moor

Children will have the chance to learn from ex-Bristol City footballer Scott Murray at Hutton Moor Leisure centre this upcoming weekend.
The former winger, whose clubs also included Bath, Reading and Aston Villa, will conduct coaching sessions at Hutton Moor Leisure, as part of their open day on April 29.
The open day will also include a range of free activities and taster sessions aimed at getting the community more involved in sport and exercise.
Dave Somers, Hutton Moor General Manager, said: “This is an annual event to showcase all of Hutton Moor’s fabulous facilities.
“Last year’s event was a huge success drawing over a thousand people and we anticipate a similar turn out.”
In addition to Scott Murray’s coaching session, The Big Splash Mile in aid of Sport Relief and Swimathon For Marie Curie Cancer Care, will take place at 645 UK Pools, including Hutton Moor, from April 27-29.
Dave Somers, Hutton Moor General Manager, added: “The Swimathons will take place across the country and it is hoped this will be the biggest Swimathon weekend ever.
“Swimmers will be raising money for two worthy causes, Marie Curie, which supports cancer suffers and Sport Relief, helping deprived families across the world.”
To enter a place before April 25, simply visit www.swimathon.org and select the named charity and distance.
