Event to show how businesses can export education services to China
Businesses looking to export educational services to China can find out how best to do so at the next Bristol and West of England China Bureau Pow Wow on November 23.
The popular networking event will be hosted and sponsored by UWE’s Bristol Business School.
Bureau Director Richard Lowe comments: “Following the success of our October meeting which focused on manufacturing opportunities, next month’s Pow Wow will focus on how UK education providers can help foster an effective two-way relationship with China.”
Noordin Shehabuddeen, Director of UWE’s Bristol Business Engagement Centre (BBEC) and Associate Professor in Innovation and Entrepreneurship, will welcome guests and deliver a speech on the UWE departments that work with China and Chinese students.
This will include a look at how UWE recruits in China and how the students, once they get here, interact with UK businesses going forward.
Sophie Turnbull, Head of International Recruitment at UWE will also describe the opportunities and nuances associated with accessing the Chinese education market, while Colette Percival, Head of External Relations Development (Employability and Enterprise), UWE Bristol will talk on how Chinese (and international students) support UK businesses.
