Virtual office business strengthens portfolio with new acquisition

Bristol-based Virtually There, a provider of virtual offices and business services, has recently completed the acquisition of virtual reception brand Receiver from London firm Hoxton Mix.

The Receivr brand will boost Virtually There’s customer base to over 2000 customers and strengthen its UK wide network of virtual offices. Currently the company offers 21 virtual offices across some of the most influential cities in the UK, including Bristol, London, Manchester, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Liverpool.

Director of Virtually There, Edgar Thoemmes, sees the acquisition as just the start. He commented: “Virtually There has a great reputation with our virtual reception clients. Our current model is perfect for the customers of Receivr, and we plan to build on this acquisition to grow the brand further and improve on its already excellent service.

“The call answering and virtual office industry continues to grow at a remarkable pace, especially in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic, where we are already seeing a decline in the need for bricks and mortar offices.

“Virtually There have built a great portfolio of clients, from one-man-band start-ups to medium-sized enterprises, and as well as predicting record growth, we’re also actively looking for our next acquisition and hope to have something agreed by the end of the year.”
