Scott Bros is to invest £600,000 as it aims to meet increasing demand

North East-based waste haulage company Scott Bros is set to invest £600,000.

The company, which focuses on recycling, will use the funding to expand its fleet to meet increasing demand for skip hire, waste disposal and recycling services.

Peter Scott, transport manager at Scott Bros, said: “The recent fleet expansion is essential to support the increasing demand we are experiencing at Scott Bros.

“We are aiming to increase the company’s provision of skip hire in the North East this year, so we need a higher quantity of vehicles to allow this.

“Scott Bros is also always looking to increase its recycling capacity. The addition of new wagons and low loaders allows us to transport a higher quantity of materials & plant more quickly and safely for our customers.”

Scott Bros will invest in new vehicles including two skip loaders, a Mercedes tipper wagon, and a low-loader, with plans to also buy two tipper grabs in the coming months as the firm aims to provide a more comprehensive service across Teesside and areas of the wider North East.
