Watch video now: Business Leader talks to the Wolf of Wall Street Jordan Belfort

In arguably our most exciting interview to date, Business Leader recently spoke to Jordan Belfort, the founder and former CEO of Stratton Oakmont, widely known around the world as The Wolf of Wall Street.

Belfort founded brokerage house Stratton Oakmont in 1989 and led the company to become the largest over-the-counter (OTC) firm in the United States during the 1990s, with revenues of $13 billion in 1996 and more than 1,000 employees.

The subsequent fall of the company for defrauding its shareholders, which Belfort spent 22 months in prison for, is well-documented in Belfort’s memoir, The Wolf of Wall Street, which was published in 2007 and inspired the 2013 film of the same name, where the former stockbroker was portrayed by Leonard Dicaprio.

But since leaving prison, the former stockbroker has become one of the world’s leading motivational speakers and most recently stepped into the lucrative world of NFTs. Belfort has completed a $440k purchase of a CryptoPunk and is quickly becoming known as a thought-leader in this space.

In his interview with Business Leader, Jordan spoke to us about everything from NFTs to working from home, leadership, business leaders, and of course, Wall Street.
