Yorkshire-based company This Pampered Life, which creates bespoke experience packages for corporate and personal clients, is set to tap into the growing number of Chinese tourists visiting the UK.

This Pampered Life recently signed a contract to offer its services through the popular We Chat Pay app to Chinese tourists visiting Yorkshire, with 250,000 visiting the UK last year.

We Chat Pay is an online platform similar to WhatsApp and is used by over one billion Chinese customers

Through the We Chat platform, tourists visiting Yorkshire from China can now purchase experience day packages directly with one click on the We Chat app. This saves them the hassle of currency conversion and time consuming bank transfers.

Speaking about this latest exciting development, founder of This Pampered Life, Minoti Parikh said: “This comes at the perfect time. It is aligned with our plans to expand internationally.

“Now with the We Chat pay, we will be able to offer our bespoke experience packages to the tourists from China who can directly book through the app in a hassle free way.

“This is a game-changer in building relationships with our Chinese customers.”

Together WeChat and WeChat Pay will make it far easier for visitors based in China and traveling to Yorkshire to take advantage of this new facility to explore all the unique facets of the region.
